At FilSwan, our mission is to build a powerful and easy-to-use storage and computing infrastructure layer for the Web3. Our team members are in Canada, the US, and China.

FilSwan works closely with organizations such as Chainlink and Filecoin Foundation. We are honored to be an active contributor to the community and serve as a leading member of the FVM early builder and RETMKT builders program. FilSwan is also the leading Filecoin North America Notary, and an Orbit Spaceship Ambassador.

Charles Cao

Co-Founder, Tech Parnter

Charles CAO: Co-founder - Tech Partner

Charles Cao has over 15 years working experience in information technology and fintech industry. His extensive expertise contributes to the team growth in crypto mining technologies and public relationships. Charles Cao is the ambassador of Filecoin, mentor of Techstars accelerator, and Filecoin community champion. He is working closely with hardware providers, government, Web3 blockchain communities, analysts, and investors in the industry.

Prior to joining the crypto industry, Charles worked for IBM, Autodesk Cloud, SAQ, Expedia, and Paysafe.

Charles started his own business in Ethereum mining and smart contract in 2017. In the same year, he founded Nebula AI focusing on decentralized cloud computing and machine learning research. He has built a strong community amongst North America Web3 users, a strategic partnership with Seagate, AWS, and HPE. Until now, FilSwan has received remarkable funding support from Quebec and Canada federal government, and reached scientific cooperation with the world’s top universities.

FilSwan is an active community member in the IPFS/Filecoin ecosystem. We work closely with the Filecoin Foundation and have participated in many Filecoin events, such as Slingshot, Filecoin Plus Day, Space Race, etc. We are a two-time community champion during the orbit space race in 2020. We also hold several positions within the Filecoin community, such as MinerX & MinerX2 Fellow, Filecoin Global Ambassador, and North American Notary.
